Glenna "Fern" Anders

Anders, Glenna “Fern”, 80, of Louisville, passed away August 19, 2016. She enjoyed arts and crafts and painting. Fern attended and was very involved with Green Acres Baptist Church and volunteered with the Salvation Army Angel Tree. She retired from the Jefferson County Public School System where she was a custodian for Bruce Middle School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anders.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Probus, Barry Anders (Sharon), and Terry Anders (Selma); grandchildren, MarySue, Diana, Cynthia (Tommy), Terry Jr. (Michelle), Marcella, and Chris (Briana); great-grandchildren, Claudia, Joe, Kain, Breyden, Chris, Daylon, Alivia, Eli, Annabelle, and Bailey; one great-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah; siblings, Jack Peters (Ruth), Irma Taylor, Eddie Peters, Norma Buckhart (Bill), and Kay Delozier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 am-2 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Fern can be made to Green Acres Baptist Church or the Salvation Army.
