

Glenna attended Loyall High School in Loyall, Kentucky and graduated from Red Bird Settlement School in Beverly, Kentucky. After graduation, she joined her sister in Louisville where she met the love of her life, Lawrence Lee Habich. Glenna and Larry shared 49 plus enjoyable years together.
Glenna was a member of the former Harmony Baptist Church and retired from the Jewish Community Center. Her hobbies included reading and quilting. Glenna also enjoyed taking Tai Kwon Do classes, earning a black belt in the martial art. She and Larry enjoyed boating and fishing at Rough River and after retiring, they traveled extensively.
Glenna was preceded in death by her loving and caring husband, Larry: four brothers, Earnest Miniard, Walter Miniard, Creed Miniard, and Carl Miniard; a sister, Jewell M. Stewart, and an infant sister, Edna Miniard
Left to treasure her memory are her sisters, Lela M. Miniard and Gladys R. Miniard, Louisville, and Alfredia Kenney, Seattle, Washington; a sister-in-law, Marty Habich, Texas; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Glenna’s Life will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013, from 2-8 p.m., and 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
