Gloria Ann Johnson

She was a native of Louisville Kentucky and the daughter of the late Aubrey and Ermine Cowles. Gloria was a long time member of the First United Baptist Church (Longfield), where she played piano and sang in the choir.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, William Oval "Bill" Johnson; her daughter, Beverly Ann Barrow; great grandson, Andrew Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Sally Johnson.

Left to cherish Gloria's memory are her children, Rev. Larry (Diane) Johnson, Barry Johnson, Kenneth Johnson; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Garrett, Dorothy Johnson, James Cowles (Teresa); son-in-law, Ed Barrow; several extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation for Gloria will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2pm to 8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. Visitation will also be Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 9am to the hour of her funeral service at 11am at First United Baptist Church (Longfield) , 5507 Cartledge Ct, 40214. Burial will immediately follow at Lone Hill Cemetery, 5410 Mt Washington Rd, 40229.
