Mrs. Throop was born June 17, 1939 in Horse Branch, KY to her parents Guthrie and Beulah Baize Wilson.
She was a self-employed beautician, enjoyed working in the real estate business, and was a member of the Moose Lodge #5 and Life Bridge Christian Church.
Glynda is survived by her husband of 17 years, Harry Throop; father, Guthrie Wilson; sister, Patsy Cochran; daughters Susan Smith (Bill) and Sherri Morris; son, Steve Morris; stepsons Anthony Throop and John Jenkins; stepdaughter Lynn Weaver; grandchildren Alicia, Neil, Tiffany, Collin, Parker, Nathan, Tara and Jamie; great-grandchildren Aaliyah and Aubrey.
Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 4400 Bardstown Road. A celebration of life service will be held for Glynda on Thursday at Noon in the Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be at Penn Run Cemetery.
