Goldie will always hold a precious place in my heart. As a little girl, Goldie was always a part of our visits with our MeMe (her neighbor) and as I grew up- Goldie loved to come and visit with our kids as we brought them over. There was never a time until recent years that Goldie didn’t walk over with her coffee to sit and chat.
She will be missed- and definitely missed by my precious MeMe!
She was the sweetest soul and will be missed!

Tammy, Scotty and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Goldie's passing. There are so many memories on Pitchford Road that it would be hard to share all of them. I used to love it when Goldie made her skillet bread because that's the only place I could get it. She and my mom became such good friends and she was such great company to my mom in her last days on earth. I just know they are in heaven reunited and playing Bingo. So sad I cannot be with you all during this time. Praying for comfort and peace for you all.

sorry to hear of Aunt Goldie's passing. She was a great woman. I loved when Saturday nights would roll around and we would all meet at grandma Minnie's house to play cards all night. I would gave so much fun. She will truly be missed. My love to the family.

Tammy and family, you don’t know me, but I feel like I’ve known Goldie for years. I am Laura’s Aunt Mandy. I am so sorry for your loss. Bertha is an wonderful, amazing woman I love her so much, I know I would have loved Goldie to if I would have got to meet her. Tony and Laura talked so fondly of Goldie and y’all that I feel like I know you personally. They talked about how much fun they have going down for the derby and all the family being together. Laura talks about Goldie welcoming you in and taking care of you. I’ve heard so many amazing things about her, I wish I would have gotten to meet her. Heaven has gained a true Angel. I am so sorry for your loss. We all had some good memories on Pitchford Road. I remember going to your house as a kid and being so excited to get a soft drink with that ice maker ice and enjoying the air condition. Your Mom was such a sweet lady! It is so hard losing our Moms, but heaven is real and what a glorious place it must be. God bless you and your family. You are in our prayers. Patty Durbin "The Durbin's 1024"

First I’m so sorry for your loss. Loosing a love one during this time is so hard and not being able to share memories and grief is disheartening. Goldie will always hold a special place in my heart. She and Mother (Elnora Stillwell) were close friends and shared everything. Mom would call Goldie on Sunday morning to get her up for church. She would say this is your wake up call, now get up! We would go play bunco with the ladies at Juanita’s and had plenty of lunches together. She will be truly missed by her family, friends and church family. RIP Miss Goldie ❤️🙏🏻
