I don't understand the way some men talk about their in-laws. I had a great relationship with my mother and father in-law. I looked up to and respected my father in law and miss the many times we spent sitting and talking on the front porch. I will dearly miss Goldie. In many ways, she was my second mother. I will miss her Carrot cake, the laughs we all had playing Monopoly and the banging of pots and pans at 5am knowing a big country breakfast was coming soon.
I know she is in a better place and once again with her husban.
I love you.

Mother always played Monopoly with all of us. And she always cheated and then laugh so hard we would almost pee our pants.
