Trabue, Gordon C. “Bill”, 86 passed away Wednesday February 24, 2016. Bill was a proud graduate of the University of Louisville and a faithful member of Brookview Baptist Church. He was also a troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 73. He had a love for nature, art, photography and most importantly his church. He was a long time member of the Southern Indiana Modelers, Louisville Area Sailing Society and Crit Club. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Hazel Trabue and his sister Shirley. Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 66 years Mary Trabue, sons David Trabue (MaryAnn), Dennis Trabue (Kate), Douglas Trabue (Did), Dwight Trabue (Jan), Dan Trabue (Donna) and Dale Trabue (Sandra), eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A service to honor the life of Bill will be held Monday at 12 noon in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady and Sons Funeral Home 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-7pm at the funeral home.
