Grace W. Baker, formerly of Louisville KY for 63 years, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at The Summit at Park Hills in Fairborn OH. She has gone on to join her husband of 55 years, Edgar C. Baker and her parents, Carl Stevens and Gladys Gray Westerfield of Beaver Dam KY. The angels in heaven are rejoicing. Grace was born on September 30, 1919 in Beaver Dam KY, graduated from Bethel College in Hopkinsville KY and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green KY. Grace taught at Valley High School in Valley Station Ky for 25 years. Edgar preceded her in death on March 23, 1994 and her granddaughter Kara Seifert. She is survived by 3 daughters, Anna Andes (Robert) of Fairborn OH, Ava Martin (Ralph) of Durham NC, and Carla Grace Culbert of Delton MI. She is also survived by grandchildren Ava Miller, Patti Andes Crain, David Andes, Jennifer Fincher, Korinne Taylor, Zac Culbert, Alexandria Culbert, Amanda Culbert, Abigail Culbert, Adrianna Culbert, Zeb Culbert, Virginia (Ginny) Howell and great grandchildren Zachary Miller, Harrison Miller, Alexandra Andes, Elizabeth Andes, Sierra Taylor, Owen Fincher, Ruby Fincher, Charleston Grace Fincher, Tiffany Crain, Christina Crain, Serena Crain and Donnie Crain and two great-great grandchildren, Aubrie and Brayden. A service to celebrate Graces’ life will be held at 10 am Saturday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday.
