She was active member in the Crab Orchard Baptist Church where she served as the organist for over 50 years. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, Lincoln County Library Board, Lincoln County Homemakers, Crab Orchard Planning and Zoning and was retired as superintendent for the William Whitley House State Shrine. Grace traveled the world abroad and loved the outdoors.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wilson.
She is survived by two children, Marsha Wilson of St. Louis and John Wilson and his wife Rebecca of Richmond; two grandchildren, Alicia (Mike) Whitaker and John M. Wilson and one great-grandson, Trevor S. Gumm.
Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Monday, February, 14, 2011 at McKnight Funeral Home in Crab Orchard with private burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Funeral Services will be private.
