Granvell Pierce

Granvell was a free-spirited person with a witty sense of humor. Known by many names such as dad, daddy Granvell, Papa G, and Pontiac. He was full of life when he was not sleeping. (If you know, you know.) To say he was proud of all of his children would be an understatement. He enjoyed exploring trails in nature with his children. It seemed to be his goal in life to make everyone laugh. If you were lucky enough to meet him even once, you would surely never forget him. Granvell will be missed for his many stories and dad jokes. ("Thats Right"). The family asks for everyone to cover them in prayers as they learn to walk this world without a legend.

Granvell is survived by his 4 adult children, Brittney Riley (Andrew Riley) of Rome, Georgia; Luke Pierce of Midville, Georgia; Tyler Tuell of Midville, Georgia, Courtney Pierce of Midville, Georgia; three minor children, Cooper, Maggie, and Jacob; and grandchildren, Tucker, Maisy, and Blakely. He is also survived by his brothers, JD Pierce, Jerry Pierce, Darell Pierce. Also his sisters, Diane Howard, Mayrene Hampton, Elaine Pryor, and Dorinda Hampton.

Preceded in death by his mother Doris Jean Pierce and father James Harrison Pierce.
