Gregory Glass, 52, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Elizabethtown. He was born August 3, 1962 in Merced, California. He was a 1980 graduate of Moore High School, obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville Speed School and graduate degree from Webster University. He retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Heather Jones Glass, parents, Robert and Wilma Glass, sister, Kim Glass, niece, Brittany Burkhead (Michael) and grandmother, Freda Green, mother and father –in-law, Alan and Nina Jones, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jaimi Jones, nephew, Cooper Jones. Also left to cherish his memory is Summer Ennis, Issac Lavery and Haley Ennis.
A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and again Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Greg.
