90, of Louisville passed on January 31, 2016 at Magnolia Springs East.
He was an active member of Springdale Presbyterian Church for over 50 years serving as Elder and Deacon. Harold served his country proudly in the United States Army. He retired from sales with the Louisville Cement Company with over 30 years of service. The family would like to thank the staff of Magnolia Springs East and Karlen Assisted Living for the wonderful support they provided.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanora in June of 2015. Survivors include his son, Don Meier (Kathy) and two grandchildren, Lee and Kristi Meier.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Springdale Presbyterian Church, 7812 Brownsboro Road. Private burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church from 3-4 p.m. also on Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
