84, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Glen Ridge Health Care with his loving family by his side. He was a retired warehouse worker for General Electric and was a member of Highview Baptist Church. Harold, also served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Chessie Carpenter Peavler. He is survived by his loving wife, Leola Peavler; a daughter, Carolyn Phillips; sons, David, Larry, Lonnie, Keith and Tim Peavler; a brother, Russell Peavler and 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Louisville.
