Harry E. "Eddie" Frantz, 75, of Louisville and Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away after a brief illness on the morning of August 4, 2013, at Jewish Hospital-Shelbyville. He was a member of Local 110 and had worked as a sheet metal welder. He was a former member of St. Andrews United Christian Church, was an avid golfer, and loved to play the horses at Churchill Downs. He had also served in the U.S. Navy.
Predeceasing him were his parents, Harry William and Lillian Dietrich Frantz; and brother, Frank Frantz.
Left cherishing his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Bonita Little Frantz; children Tony Frantz, Jasen (Stephanie) Frantz, Kelly (A.J.) Wilkins, sister Barbara (Bobby Joe) Weatherford; five granddaughters and one grandson.
A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
