One of the sweetest people I will ever know. Such a gentle spirit who saw the good in everyone. So blessed to have known her. Thoughts and prayers are with her children who have to continue on without her but will someday see her loving smile and feel her warm embrace once again. She made the world a better place and now Heaven has added one more angel.

I spent my childhood hanging out at Charlie's house and have many great memories of Gertrude. She use to call me and my cousin Jeff street urchins and chase us with a broom when we were out of line. This makes me sad. Love to all her children who I got to know when I was young.

I would like to offer my condolences to Sherri Mattingly and her family!! I did not know Mrs. Sandfer personally, but felt I did from the way Sherri would speak so lovingly of her Mom. Sherri was a great daughter and took such good care of her. May God grant her and the family the peace to endure such a great loss!! May God continue to bless and keep you all!
