He was a faithful member of the East Louisville Lions Club. H.B. was also a member of the Van Hoose Golf Group of Louisville, KY and Crescent Hill Baptist Church. He was a proud veteran of the US Army.
H.B. is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Lavern Gowin Brady; parents, Jake and Nancy Brady; sisters, Frances Willard Griffith, Irene Fuqua, Elizabeth White, and Louise Wilson; and brothers, Gordon Brady and Jacob Brady.
He is survived by his son, Kristopher Brady (Gregory Rahming); grandson, AJ Brady; several nieces, including Florene Billman, Sue Miller, and Judy Montgomery.
Visitation will be held at Crescent Hill Baptist Church, 2800 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206, US, on September 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date at Valley of Rest Cemetery in La Grange, KY.
