Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Faith Anderson; grandson, Bradley Michael Porter; and brother, Harold Parsley.

She is survived by loving husband of 70 years, John L. Cox; children, Donna Robinson, Sandy Cox and John L. Cox, Jr. (Theresa); grandchildren, Steven Cox, Gene Robinson, Greg Robinson, Matthew Porter, Danny Lafollette, Samantha McGuire, Abigail Foley and Asher Foley; great-grandchildren, Cain Cox, Heaven Cox, Haley Cox, Braylon Porter, Ashton McGuire and Mattie McGuire; great-great-grandchildren, Santana, Everleigh and Aerolena; siblings, Evelyn Burchett, Vickie Copass and Nancy Geralds; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home at Evergreen Funeral Home.
