Helen Marie Hodges, 89, of Louisville, passed away on the afternoon on June 3, 2015 at Baptist Healthcare with her daughter by her side. She was the former Helen Underwood and a homemaker. She had worked in her early years at Broadway Chevrolet and had owned and operated a ceramic studio for over 30 years. Recently she had lived at the Atria and had attended Southeast Christian Church.
Helen was preceded by her parents Jeff and Lettie Underwood and her beloved husband, Ben Hodges.
Left cherishing her memory is her daughter, Holly (Drew) Ernst and her grandson, Matt (Stephanie) Ernst.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
