Today is one year since grandma passed away. We really miss you every single day. I know you are in heaven waiting on all of us to get there so we can be together once again.  Can't wait to see you grandma it has been so hard without you keeping all the family together and taking us every where you went was the best thing and I really thank you for loving us so much.  Miss and love you love your granddaughter Amanda.

Grandma,
It will be a year in June since you went to heaven. I miss you every single day.  I know your in heaven watching over all of us and you know this world will never be the same.  We have to take day by day til we meet in heaven and that will be a wonderful and beautiful day.  Grandma it is getting bad here in this world and all we do is pray, pray everyone stays healthy and safe.  We love and miss you can't wait to see your smile again and your beautiful angel wings. Grandma we really miss and love you its been 3 months since you went to heaven and its really hard being without you.  You were always with us and now that you are gone its not the same anymore.  You held this family together and now it seems its falling apart. We really miss you grandma. Keep our family in your prayers. Love you grandma. 

My grandma was the best grandma a grandkid could ever ask for. She has always been there for us. Every summer she would take us to Chicago she loved Chicago that was her home away from home.  She took us everywhere with her. She would buy us all a Kentucky Kingdom pass so we could have fun but we all knew she just wanted someone to ride the roller coasters with. Her favorite rollercoaster was the twisted sisters she could ride that all day and mile high falls. She would always sing Im just a kid again every time we would go. She loved going to church every Sunday and Wed even for special events she is a good Christian woman and she would always take us with her so me and Jessica could sing for everyone at the Lord's Chapel and Lord's kitchen.  God and Jesus has an amazing woman in Heaven with them now and I will always love her with all my heart. Grandma I love you and I miss you Thank you for always being there and always loving us. I cant wait to go to Heaven so we can see each other again. I love you always and forever. Love your granddaughter Amanda. 

Helen was the best big sister a little girl could have. Too many memories for this small space to hold. But the best one is that she loved me. I will miss her smile, her laughter, giving spirit and adventurous attitude. Helen loved life, Jesus and her family. We will miss her so very much, but we will see her again in heaven. I Love my Helen!

Wanda I'm so sorry to hear about granny helen I have so many memories  of her I don't know where to start but my favorite ones have to be when she went to the concerts with us and she would dance and smile and have a ball no matter who was watching and she loved her grandkids  more then anything and loved to sing and loved god.my thoughts and prayers are with the family and I will be here if you need always.if it wasn't from Wanda or David I wouldn't meet her and for that I am blessed so thank you David.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Phipps, Sr., and sons, Lester Phipps, Jr., and William Phipps.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Wanda Bender (John); brothers, Robert and James Ralph (Genny); sisters, Martha Turner (Carl) and Nina Racine (Julio); 8 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.
