Henrietta "Hank" Rochford

Rochford, Henrietta “Hank” (Bolin), 89, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was born in Brooks Kentucky to the late Ben and Philomena (Amos) Bolin. She joyfully served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She not only worked in the assembly department for General Electric, Building 6 for 34 years, she was also known for her ownership of Chick Inn Restaurant from 1971 until 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Rochford. They were known as “Hank and Rocky” from Chick Inn. John also worked for Ford for 31 years. She is also preceded in death by her 5 siblings, Shorty, William, Morris, Bennetta, and Marie.

“Hank” is survived by her daughter, Sarah Lee Ashley; grandson (son), John L Rochford (Kathleen Bader); sister, Ruby Carlisle; sons to Ruby, Ernie and Buddy Glen (Debbie) Carlisle; stepchildren to Ruby, Edgar Carlisle and Becky Hodges; granddaughter, Tracy Williams; son to Tracy, Jerry L. Bierbaum; daughter to Jerry, Brianna; daughter to Tracy, Kara Williams (Matt); children to Kara, Juliet, Nora, and Xavier; cousin, Kathleen Gibson; nieces, Donetta Hemp, Audra, Rachel, Sis Vonkanel, and Ann Vernon; and nephews, Chris Sanders, Frank Bolin (Mary Ellen), Pete Bolin and Gene Bolin. A special thank you to family friend, Dave Autry. She is also survived by an extended number of family, loved ones, and friends.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville Kentucky 40218 with a private burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
