She was born to the late Susie and Henry M. Williams, Sr.. Her brother and his wife Henry M. Williams, Jr (Susan) and furry companion Lucy, also precede her in passing.
Sue retired from Mother's Cookies after 30 years of employment. She enjoyed spending time outside in the yard or on the boat at Nolin Lake. Sue loved listening to Willie Nelson and spending time with her family.
Here to cherish her memory is her sister, Ina Metts, nieces; Susan Johnson, Shannon Mahoney (Richard), Stacey Wells, Lisa Williams, Lyndsey Stogdill (Dean), nephews; Jason Williams and Justin Williams (Miranda), a host of great nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will occur on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 3:00PM-6:00PM. A celebration of Sue’s life will follow visitation, beginning at 6:00PM. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
Sue will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Crusade for Children or Hosparus of Louisville.
