Buddy graduated from Trinity High School, served his country 22 years in the US Army, with two tours of Viet Nam, where he received many medals including the Bronze Star, and Cross of Gallantry. He was a Mason with the KY Grand Lodge, KY Colonel, and a member of the local VFW Post.
He loved to garden, and share with others, he also loved to bird watch, act in local stage productions, listen to opera, and share time with others, especially his family. He was a devout Catholic his whole life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Glover Logsdon Sr. and Thelma M. Fair.
He is survived by his 2 daughters; Rose Sun Logsdon Shea and husband Daniel of Boston, MA and Elizabeth An Ammons and husband Mark, of New Albany, IN. His grandchildren; Marcello Gelsomini, Daniel Henry Collins Shea, Lucas Bishop, Katherine Ammons, and Jocelyn Ammons. His sister, Lindalee Woodward Jurgens and her husband Jacobus of Sun Lakes, AZ and his half-sister, Susan Logsdon of Indianapolis, IN . He has a niece, Gail Elaine Woodward, and nephew, Johnie M. Woodward.
A Mass will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Frances of Rome Church, 2119 Payne St., with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 pm Monday at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
