Henry A. Mason

Mr. Henry Mason, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, entered the world on February 12, 1950 and departed it on November 9, 2020. Born in Louisville, KY, his life was filled with a natural inclination to protect and provide for those he loved as he navigated life through that lens.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ardis, with whom he was married to for 39 years. He is survived by his children, Erik Pender (Becky), Todd Mason (Wilma), Tracey Bryant (Buddy), Tammy Tomes (David) and Tim Mason.

Cherished grandpa to Ausdin Pender (Sydney), Megan Tomes, Ben Pender, Gregory Tomes (Alecia), Max Pender, Aubrey Kaeka (Kekoa), Hunter Mason, Ella Pender, Elena Pender, Mason Pender and great-grandfather to Grayson Tomes. He also had a life full of many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed life on the farm, traveling to horse sales, taking daily rides on his golf cart around the property and spending time with family. Following the death of his beloved Ardie in 2019, he has spent his time embracing those he loved with a new vulnerability. He possessed many life skills and had a true knack for fixing and building things. One of the neatest things about him was his willingness to lend a helping hand, a piece of equipment or wise word of instruction whenever needed and whenever he could help out.
