James Henry Rittenberry, 73 of Jeffersontown passed away at his home on Saturday, March 3, 2012. He was born in Hopkinsville, KY and attended Georgetown College. He is a member of Jeffersontown Baptist Church.
He was a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sarah Thompson Rittenberry; his children, Stacy Cade (David), Beth Linder (Mark) and Todd Rittenberry (Susan); his grandchildren, Brenna, Haley and Sommer Cade, William, Ellen, Sarah, Claire and Kate Linder, and Sam, Jonah and Jack Rittenberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ollie Rittenberry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Jeffersontown Baptist Church, 10011 Taylorsville Road. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2-8 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road and an hour prior to services at Jeffersontown Baptist Church.
