Hiram Melvin Devore, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2020.

Melvin was born May 9, 1934 in Colesburg, Kentucky to George Devore and Mary A. Brewer. He was a retired electrical employee, working for PG&E and LG&E.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Anna Louise Devore.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Peggy Devore, Kevin Devore, Melvin (Charlotte) Devore, Kathy (David) Lambright, Steven Devore, Christina (Benjamin) Jones, Debbie (Larry) Raddeker, Dianna Blake, Bobby Sallee, Wendell Sallee and Frank (Heather) Blackwell; numerous grandchildren, great – grandchildren and –great – great – grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.

Entombment is in the Evergreen Cemetery & Mausoleums.
