Houston was a retired technician for LG&E, a member of Third Avenue Baptist Church, and a member of Plumb Masonic Lodge 862 and Kosair Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lorene Cole and brother Jerry Wayne Cole. Survivors include his father Houston “Jerry” Cole, Sr; brothers Kevin Cole (Tracie), Keith Cole (Jodi), Kelly Hill, and Mark Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday at Third Avenue Baptist Church, 1726 S 3rd Street, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 1-4 pm at the church.
