     Ida was a beautiful person.  Since I was a very young boy, Ida was always the sweetest and kindest role model to me.  My mother and Ida were "Best Friends" and this bond never failed.  Growing up, Ida was always like a mom to me.  I will never forget the fun trips our families shared and how Ida was always there to care for us children.  
     Through birthdays, holidays and graduations Ida was always there to show her love and support to me.  There will be no replacing Ida.  We have to realize that God shared her with us, and now he needs her back.  I will always have memories of her and how she made a impression on my life.  
     I want my friends Joe, Jim, and Darren to know that after all the years past, I love them and I will be praying for you and your families.

     Ida was a dear friend for 67 years! In fact she was like a sister to me.  We met on the steps of Larchmont Church of God when we were 5 years old.  They were taking pictures of our Sunday School Class.  She became a part of my family and I was part of hers.  Most of the time when we were growing up we switched weekends , one weekend at her house, the next at mine.  My Mom and Dad and sister and brother all loved her too.  At 12 years old we were both saved and baptized together.  Ida helped lead me to the Lord!  I went on vacation with her family several times and what fun we had! Her Mom was like a second Mom to me.  We both married young and had our children about the same time.  
     Our husbands became friends and together, we all went camping and traveled together.  I love Ida's boys and she loved mine.  I will miss her dearly, but we all know that she loved the Lord and that brings me so much comfort.  
     Darren and Gina , I pray that God will bless you richly for taking such good care of your Mom.  She loved you all so much and I know you did her.    I know you never considered it a burden, but rather a privilege to care for her!  Please know that I am here for you and will always hold your Mom close in my heart.    God Bless.
