Ima Jean Drexler, 79 of Louisville, passed away at her daughter's home on Monday, October 17, 2016. She worked for St. Anthony Hospital as an Environmental Services Supervisor for 10 years and at Ryan's Steakhouse as a server for 25 years..
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Thelma Fuqua.
Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 55 years, Daniel A. Drexler Sr., their children, Danny Drexler Jr., (Kathy), Rita "Drexler" Jarrett (Bobby), Gayla Drexler, Julie "Drexler" Ziakas (Jeremy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A funeral to celebrate Jean's life will be conducted at 2pm on Monday, October 24, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8pm on Sunday, October 23, 2016 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
