Irene Six Smith

Irene was a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church (Cecilia), a previous member of Southside Church of the Nazarene (Louisville) for 52 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Helen Six; husband, Cecil A. Smith; daughter, Debbie Smith; and a granddaughter, Leticia Smith.

Irene is survived by her daughters, Lois Hopkins and Sandy Walker; son, David Smith (Sharon); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and Sisters, Norma Cox and Phyllis Chambers (Charlie) The Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Arch L Heady and Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m. until the time of service.
