J C “Butch” Waldridge Jr., 68, of Fisherville passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born April 21, 1946 to the late J C Sr. and Hazel Storch Waldridge. Butch loved his work of trucking and after retiring raised sheep.
Mr. Waldridge is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley Bass Waldrigde, two children, J C Waldridge III (Nicole) and Shanna Mathis, five grandchildren, Austin, Jayden, Savannah, J C “Jayce” IV and Tristan, two brothers, Dr. Ron Waldridge and Steve Waldridge, a sister, Sue Lettie , cousins, Kay Moore and Barbara Samuals.
A Celebration of Butch’s Life will be conducted Thursday, November 13th, 2014 at 10am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
