

Kahl, Jack, 81 entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2016. Jack was a loving father, Paw-Paw, uncle, and friend. Jack was a lead by example type of man, who believed that spending time with his family was important. He attended every activity his grandchildren were involved in. In his younger years, Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the race track. He played basketball and was an avid UK fan. Go Big Blue! He was the secretary for both the Buechel Men’s Bowling League and the Popular Level League for over 20 years. Jack retired from Roller Die and Forming and is a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Annette Kahl.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Kahl, Dan Kahl (Susan), Dwayne Kahl, and Dana Hardin (Tim); grandchildren, Trish McKune (Jerimy), Ryan Kahl, Tyler Kahl, Josh Kahl, Justin Kahl, Timmy Hardin, Sean Hardin, Michael Hardin, Trenton Hardin, and Kyle Hardin; great grandchildren, Lucas and Anna McKune; and sister, Susie Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday at 10:00am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of the customary forms of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s name to Hosparus.
