Metcalf, Jack E., 88, passed away on February 23, 2015. Jack enjoyed jazz music, gardening, carpentry and home renovation projects. He was a former member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where he served as a vestry member and Sunday school teacher. Jack was a current member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Louise Metcalf; mother, Beatrice Bodecker Metcalf; father, Herbert W. Metcalf; step mother, Marie Antoinette Metcalf; and son, Kent Metcalf.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Susan L. Metcalf and Nancy A. Metcalf; grandchildren, Kelly, Richard, Becky, Nathan, Josh, Sean and Keira; and great grandchildren, Teresa and Debbie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 3pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. A Memorial visitation will be Saturday from 1pm-3pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jack can be directed to the Robley Rex Veterans Hospital and the Alzheimer’s Association.
