Well baby it has heen over 5 yesrs now and it still seems like I will wake up tomorrow and you will ve there. So much has happened these past 5 years. The kids are well and tge grandkids are growing like weeds. I wish you could have met litlle Jack. He keeps me hopping. He is a very special child. Skylar is in remissiin with his cancer as I am sure you are aware. He imisses you still so very deeply. He tells me every time I see him how he wishes you were here and how he misses his best friend. You would be so proud of them all. Kristi is so very intelliget. She has made the deans list every semester in college all three years thus far. Next year she is off to Notre Dame for post graduate studies. It woont be so long that she will have her doctorate and phd and will be on her way to a great future.
Caylee bug is not far behind her and is equally as smart. Abby and Ashton are still playing baseball and are both are damn good at it. They are still in traditional school and doing great. Abby is the onky girl on the baseball team in middle school and is pitching very very well Emma is in dance and will be starting 2nd grade this fall. She is so pretty. Just like her momma. Skylar wants to play foitball this fall. It worries me but you got to let him do it. He has been through so much and I cant help but worry but he has cone out of this amaizingly well. He also is doing well in school. I am always busy doing sonething but health issues are starting to slow me down. Things have been tough these past fews months . I need you to be with me over the next few months. I only hope you are well and happy and fishing to your hearts content. Love always and forever.

Dad It's Hard to believe in a month you will be gone 5 years! So much has changed and happened in your absence. I still find myself wanting to pick up the phone and call you when something new happens.

Caylee started high school this year! She is still playing soccer as goalie for her Travel team, we moved her to LFC 2 years ago, best decision we made and of course now she is playing for her Highschool. She has also been accepted into the Honors Art Program in High school! WOW she can Draw Dad!! Just like Mark hehe However, she has her mommas mouth hehe No worries dad, she is maintaining a 3.8 GPA and in all Advance Classes. She also is kicking my butt in Crossfit these days. hehe She keeps me running from one end of town to the other! Hard to believe in one year she will be driving and I only have 3.5 years and she will be graduating from HS! No worries on her either she has big plans! Wants to play soccer in College and wants to be a Genesis some day!

Mark Finally got his Band 5 Engineer status he has worked so hard for. :-) We celebrated our 25th Anniversary this year. :-) We have had our ups and downs, but as you know no marriage is perfect. It's just two imperfect people learning to love and compromise.

Kristi started her Junior year in College!!! You would be amazed at how she has grown and matured into a beautiful young women. She works so hard dad! She has been team captain of her Archery Team, Joined several clubs, works a part time job, attends 18 credit hours a semester and has maintain Deans list the WHOLE way! She went in with the idea of just getting her Psychology Degree to now she is double Majoring in Both Psychology and Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. She is Studying to take the GRE test next year and hopes to score high enough to receive a Full ride to get her PHD, to become a Nero-Psychology. Not sure how I feel about her possible moving over 5 hours away from me for 4 years, but I know she must learn to survive with out me ;) She is funny though, she reassures me she needs her momma and will be moving back home close to me when she finishes school. hehehe

All those brains!! LOL

Oh here is a funny for you After Pinni passed I said no more puppies! HAHA Well, we have 3 now! Zoey and Izzy we rescued from a puppy mill when they were born, they just turned 4 this past year. We almost lost Zoey, she was such a sickly thing, but we all took turns hand feeding her and babying her along, to now the vet said she was too healthy and needed to be on a diet! LOL and this past January I met Max, his owner had to give him up, he was 6 months old. He took to me at the pet store and I just feel in love with him. So you guessed it, he found a home here with us! :-)

We miss you Dad! You are always in our thoughts! We love you!

Love your Daughter
Heffer #2 :)

Dad, it's been two years since you gained your angel wings. Wow does time fly! So much has happened this past year, most, if not all, of what you predicted but we are still stronger than ever! You would be happy to know the business is still going strong and not a day goes by that you are not thought about! Our youngest son, Jack, may never get to meet you but will carry apart of you for the rest of his life. We love you Daddy, and miss you more and more as each day passes!

Jackie it has been almost 2 years. A lot has gone on but know you've never been forgotten. I catch myself to this day wanting to call and ask you questions. The one time I remember when I was 16 and we had that talk and you explained to me and made me understand. I find it hard to believe to this day. Jamie
