Jacqueline G. Knecht , 73 of Louisville passed away Friday at Southwest Hospital. She worked for the slack rack in the old Westland Mall and was a homemaker. She was a Devoted Wife of 58 years and Devoted Mother who everyone loved and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her Husband, Herb Knecht; Son; Herbert Knecht III; Daughters, Cynthia Cottrell (Mike) and Julie Ann Portnoy; Sister, Mildred Byrd; and 4 Grandchildren, Tara, Amanda, Buck, and Cameron.
Her funeral service will be held 12 noon Tuesday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3 till 8 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
