He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Chesser.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda Chesser; daughters, Chrissy Kavanaugh (James) and Misty Ferren (Tim); stepdaughter, Derena Fields (Jermey); stepson, Josh Goodman (Stephanie); grandchildren, Savannah, Terence, Mackenzie and Landyn; 6 step-grandchildren; mother, Katherine Wilson (Kenny); and sisters, Maggie Southern (Randy) and Stella Miller (Dennis).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 2pm-8pm and Tuesday from 10am until the time of service, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
