If this is the Jim Hayes that was at Glen Ridge, I would like to say that he was a friend during the time my brother was there.  We would have our meals with him.  He was a Kentucky Basketball Fan.  We bought him a shirt one time. After my brother left Glen Ridge, we would call Jim. We are saddened that he has passed. He was such a pleasant man and we always looked forward to spending time with him.     Lee Dorris 

We are concerned that this may be a neighbor of ours in Hikes Point. He is/was a very nice man. My sister's family lived nest door to him for about a year and her grandson developed a good rapport with him since his baseballs and other toys always found their way over the fence into Jim's yard. The Jim in that home had moved when he lost his leg to diabetes and the house is a cape cod style. If this is him, we want you to know his neighbors do truly miss his kind presence; especially my elementary aged greatnephew.
