James H. Hood
August 21, 1937 – May 24, 2011
HOOD, JAMES "JIM," 73, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a sample tester for Pittsburgh Testing Laboratories and an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Meeks Hood; his father, James Steven Hood; and brother, Stanley Hood.
He is survived by his mother, Mamie Hood; sister, Birdie Hood LaBox; brother-in-law, Bill Meeks; sister-in-law, Lynda Meeks; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Please visit our website at www.odwhite&sons.com.
