Lou Ann,

I would have preferred to send this note more personally to your home, but have been unable to obtain your address. We were saddened to learn that Cleve passed away. Cleve and I started together at Belknap elementary school. I later had the privilege of being one of his attending physicians. I always liked him very much. We know how much you'll miss him. I wish I had the elequence to express myself in a manner that would give you some consolation. Please accept our sincere condolences at this time of your loss.

Dearest Lou Ann and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss.
My memories are of your years on Wessex Place. So enjoyed being apart of your and Cleve's lives. Many, many days at the pool, clubhouse, at meetings and just sharing time as neighbors do.
My Mom and I walk in Cave Hill 4 times a week. I will visit Cleve.
Please take care of yourself. OXOXOX

I am so very sorry for your loss. Cleve's sister Janet is a good friend and I heard such wonderful things about her oldest brother from her. She was so proud of him and his faithfulness to God and humanity. He served the Lord so well.
My deepest sympathy to Janet and all Cleve's family and friends.

Love and sympathy to Lou Ann, Janet, Terry, Nathan and Matthew and the Iler extended family. Cleve kept us all on track and spent countless volunteer hours at Highland helping me and the Finance team in maneuvering around Shelby software, He will be missed as a mentor, friend and challenger. You fought and won the race and have joined the Cloud of Witnesses.

I am so saddened to hear and am incredibly sorry for your loss. It’s probably been 30 years since I last saw ‘Melodee’s parents’, but whenever I visited your home, I remember Cleve being friendly and easy going to this goofy high schooler. Lou Ann, hugs to you and condolences to the family.

Cleave was a good man, always had a warm smile, and was sincere. Several years ago during a conversation with Lou Ann, she and I somehow realized that we shared a great great great grandfather that was in the revolutionary war. So from that moment, Cleave always called me cuz... we had so many laughs over this.. I will miss him and for all the love he shared with Brian and I. My deepest sympathy to Lou Ann and the family......
