He was an employee of Ford Motor Company (KTP) for 28 years. Jim was a beloved baseball/softball coach. He enjoyed playing golf and cheering on the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Jim is survived by his adoring wife of 29 years, Danielle Bayus; his children Brandon Bayus, Morgan Dever (Austin), and Zac Bayus; granddaughter Aria Dever; father Emil Bayus; four brothers and four sisters; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Bayus; his brother Bob Bayus; and his aunt Joanne Gotsis.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Jim’s honor will take place Saturday at 12:00pm with burial to take place at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Park.
