Ligon, James N. entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2015. James was a former member of Farmdale Baptist Church and a current member of Frenchburg Baptist Church. He joined the Army serving in WWII and retired from Conco Inc.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Joyce and grandson, David R. Carwile Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, James P. Ligon and Bonnie L. Carwile (David); granddaughter, Michelle Burlison (Roger); 5 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.
