

James "Jim" Allen Lamb, of Louisville, peacefully passed away in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 28, 2025. Born on February 2,1955 in La Jolla, California, Jim was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joan; as well as Carl Mittlestet, husband of sister, Judy. Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather with the spirit of a hard-working man who remembered to chuckle here and there as well.
Lynnette "Lynn" (Raque) Lamb, born March 26, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home in Louisville on January 14, 2026. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Norvin Sr. and Jane, and her beloved sister, Cheri Nan. Lynn was a devout Catholic who cherished her faith and her family. She was the heart of her home and a source of strength and compassion to all who knew her.
Together, Lynn and Jim created an ever-growing family and a marriage spanning nearly five decades. Left behind to cherish their memory and continue their legacy are their two sons, Michael (Sarena) and Nicholas (Amanda), and their six grandchildren, each carrying on many of their various quirks, traits, and traditions. Also cherishing their memory are Jim’s sister, Judy (Carl); Lynn’s brother, Norvin Jr. “Pepper” (Edie); and the very treasured and very many family members, neighbors, and friends.
Funeral Mass for Lynn will be held on February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Leonard's Catholic Church, located at 440 Zorn Avenue, Louisville.
A Celebration of Life honoring both Jim and Lynn will be held on
February 21, 2026, from 6-8pm at their favorite restaurant, El Toro, located at 10602 Shelbyville Road, Louisville.
