He attended St. Xavier High School and Bellarmine University.
Rip worked as an electrician and owned RELCO Electric, Inc., Oldham Realty, Inc. and R-M Systems, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Carlson McAuliffe; daughters Tracy (BJ) VanMeter and Leslie (John) Stanley and granddaughters; Isabella, Caroline, Layla, Sarah, Hannah and Emma. He is also survived by sisters, Kathy (Bob) Hicks, Karin McAuliffe, Beth (Steve) Mullins; a niece and nephews.
A Celebration of Rip’s Life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2p – 5p at Woodhaven Country Club.
