James “Sherrill” McDonal, 59, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sherrill Ralph Deisonroth and Alma Cecilia Huff and parents, William T. McDonal II and Mary Carole Blake.
James enjoyed spending time with family and loved to fish. He was a handy-man who could do and fix just about anything.
Left to cherish those memories is his fiancé Brenda Lawrence, brother Bill McDonal (Becky) and sister Deborah Wade (Wayne), sons James Matheis (Jackie) and Michael Ryan Matheis (Jenn), daughters Amanda Casey (Kenneth) and Katye Vega-Flores (Norlan), along with many loved nephews, nieces an grandchildren.
Services will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 on Saturday, June 1st from 3-8pm for visitation and 10-12 on Sunday with a funeral service at 12:00. Burial will be private on Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park.
