James William McLennan

Jimmy spent most of his career in the bourbon business and retired from Austin Nichols/Wild Turkey in 1997 to hunt, fish, and spend time with his kids and grandkids.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol and Helen McLennan; brother, Clifford McLennan; sister, Alice Garbarino; and a grandson, Austin McLennan.

He is survived by his children, Jeffery and Anthony McLennan, and Lisa Veteto (Jim); grandchildren, Alex McLennan (Amber) and Zoe McLennan, Erin, Mary, and Matthew Veteto, Haley Blair Harper; great grandsons Kyler McLennan and Collin Harper; brother, Raymond McLennan (Phyllis); sister, Janet Pierce (Joe) and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Arch L Heady Funeral Home 3601 Taylor Blvd from 2:00-6:00pm. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Arch L Heady Funeral Home 3601 Taylor Blvd from 1:00-2:00pm with burial immediately following at Louisville Memorial Gardens, 4400 Dixie Hwy.

Words will never be enough to thank Lisa, Erin, and Mary Veteto for the loving care they provided for Jimmy in his final months, weeks, and days!
