James Dale Miles, 68, of Louisville passed away June 28, 2015 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born on May 10, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Nettie Miles. He was retired from General Electric and was a veteran in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Finch.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Miles; children, Tessa Miles, Trena Rodgers (Greg) and Scott Miles (Kristi); grandchildren, Nathaniel Oswalt and Dylan Miller; a great-granddaughter, Avery Judd; and three siblings, Harold Miles, Mae Holland and Randy Miles.
A memorial service to celebrate both him and his wife will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-2 on Saturday at the funeral home.
