James "Jim" B Nunn

James B. Nunn “Jim”, 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on May 20, 2021. He was born to the late Callie and Creed Nunn in Henryville, Indiana. Jim was a devoted Christian who loved to help others. He once raised rabbits for 4H kids, as he enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. He retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years. He was also an Army Veteran.

Jim is preceded in passing by his parents and his brother, William Nunn.

Here to carry on his memory is his wife of 26 years, Mary G. Grimes- Nunn. Jim would claim she was the best thing to ever happen to him and he wished they had met after he had been in the service, and had children of their own. Also here to cherish his memory is his children; Charles Nunn (Shelly) and Misty Cucoon (Tom), grandchildren; Nicole, Alexis, Peyton, Alex, and Destiny, and great grandson, Adrian, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special person in his life, that was like a son, Gary Morgan. He has done a lot for the family and they appreciate him being available when they needed him.

Per the families request, all guests should wear a mask during attendance.

Family visitation will start from 9:00-10:00am, public visitation will begin at 10:00am until service time at 12:00PM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.

Jim will be laid to rest in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.
