Simon, James Edward, 87, passed away August 13, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward James and Mary Elizabeth Simon; loving wife of 65 years, Wanda Lee Simon; and son, Douglas Anthony Simon.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Simon (Robyn), David Simon (Kathy), Lisa Lynch (Jerome), Todd Simon (Tammy), and Tricia Meyer (Mike); 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11 am at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm-8 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in memory of James can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
