Jim was such a great person!  I only recently got to know him through Culture Vulture but he was so kind to me when I was able to meet him on a couple of occasions.  I always raved about what he brought to our arts community.  His posts were the BEST in the city.  There was no other place to get the service he provided the community and I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.

Jim was a lovely friend. I always loved talking about music and the arts, and still remember with sorrow and pleasure how his expression would shift from laughing joy to somber intentness as we spoke. I will miss him so much. What a sweet, kind man.

The arts community in Louisville has suffered a big loss with the passing of Jim "Culture Vulture" Wilhelm.  So glad I had the opportunity to spend some time with him recently at Actors Theatre.  He will be missed.
