Jane Verna Cain, 83, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her residence with family by her side. She was born October 30, 1932 in Louisville KY to the late Herbert and Anna Marks Hecker. She was a compassionate animal lover but most importantly she was a mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Cain.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Denise Cain-Cannon and Kimberly Cain, two sons, Danny Cain and Kevin Cain, daughter in law, Wanda Cain, grandchildren, Anthony and Tara Cain and Amber Cannon, and five great grandchildren.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held 12 pm, Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with private interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8pm at the funeral home and again Saturday morning from 10am until the time of service at noon.
