She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Chippy" Sparrow; and her sister, Jessie Runyan. Survivors include her son, Keith Carter; granddaughter, Timie Jane "T.J." Carter(Justin Poiles); great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Lexie, and Brenna; and niece, Patti Blandford(Rick).
Funeral service will be 12pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Thursday. Memorial donations in her memory can be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
